Laraine Wines took a GOLD MEDAL and BEST OF SHOW for the Sierra Foothills Appellation for their 2004 Chardonnay, and also won a Silver Medal for their 2003 Syrah and a Bronze Medal for their 2002 Merlot from the California State Fair June 2006!

Laraine Wines/Gerber Vineyards is nestled in the Sierra Foothills at an elevation of 1800 feet. Gerber Vineyards began as a small family-owned vineyard in 1989. Working in the Los Angeles entertainment industry, David and Laraine Gerber first saw the vineyard as their retreat from a busy life. The original 30-acre chardonnay vineyard has grown to almost 100 acres. The Gerbers were presented with a certificate of recognition from the Calaveras Historic Society for their restoration of the late 1800�s farmhouse, which is now home to the tasting room. Come and enjoy the quaint ambience and the tranquility of sipping fine wine under century-old trees, bringing back the peace and harmony of a time gone-by. Laraine wines can also be found at premier restaurants throughout California.
