Lavender Ridge wines are handcrafted, native yeast fermented, and unfiltered when possible. The winery specializes solely in Rhône varietal wines from Calaveras County and the Sierra Foothills. The 42 acres of vineyards are located at an elevation of 1200 feet, with climate and soil conditions similar to the Rhône region of France. Also found at Lavender Ridge are over 500 Grosso Lavender plants and 50 French olive trees. Come visit Owners/Winemakers Rich and Siri Gilpin in their Historic Downtown Murphys tasting room, and also enjoy organic olive oil and lavender bouquets from the Lavender Ridge estate.
