Ironstone Vineyards located in Murphys boasts sprawling gardens, vineyards, picnic spaces and walkways. Groups can plan a half-day or full-day retreat in one of the indoor or outdoor meeting spaces. Group activities include tours of the outdoor gold mining museum, the heritage history museum and wine caverns. The onsite kitchen makes it easy to plan all meals for your groups special event.

Hatcher Winery/School Street located in Vallecito offers a beautiful barrel room that can be reserved by large groups for special events. Enjoy a variety of delicious wines, catering options and outdoor picnic spaces surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Avery Hotel and Event Space is a character-filled historic hotel ideal for your special events, family reunions, or stylish weddings in the Sierra Foothills. Built in 1851, and first operated as a hotel in 1853, this charming period property is situated in the small hamlet of Avery which is characterized by pines, incense cedars and meadows.

The Angels Camp Museum in Angels Camp offers incredible spaces for group events ranging form the Carriage House to the outdoor gardens with picnic tables. Catering and AV can be arranged.

The lawn at Hovey Winery off of Main Street Murphys is the perfect picnic spot if you want to stay within walking distance of your lodging in town. Leave your car parked for the weekend and stroll along this historic street where you will find over 20 tasting rooms, boutique shops, restaurants and the Wine Information Center. Call ahead during busy weekends to find out how to picnic with purchase of a bottle of Hovey wine.
Interested in a Garden Tasting? Reserve a table at the beautiful Vina Moda or Val Du Vino tastings rooms located off of Main Street Murphys. These thoughtfully developed spaces are relaxing and fun. Sip on award winning wines while basking in the sunlight in the great outdoors.
Feeling a bit more adventurous? Schedule a Wine Cave Tour and Tasting at Twisted Oak Winery in Vallecito. Take in an outdoor tasting and stroll at Brice Station Vineyards, highest elevation winery located up Hwy 4 from Main Street Murphys about 10 minutes.
Looking for outdoor tasting spaces with some live music? Our friends at Boyle MacDonald Wines off of Main Street Murphys have created a gorgeous tasting deck where you can find great live music performed by local artists on some weekends in spring and summer. Call ahead to plan your visit. Be sure to also checkout Stevenot Winery at their outdoor location in Vallecito where they often host bands during summer weekends at their fabulous pergola and patio space. Prospect 772 winery in Angels Camp boasts beautiful vineyard views, picnic tables, a bocce ball court and special music events during the summer. Be sure to check their website to plan ahead. The team at Jazz Cellars loves to host local jazz bands at their tasting room courtyard off of Main Street Murphys when the weather is nice. Check their website for latest dates/details.
