Dalton Vineyard was founded in 2001 by Jim Dalton, inspired by his daughter's words, "Dad, you loved two things in life, gardening and wine. Why don't you go out and start a vineyard or something." Jim worked hard and bulldozed over 30 acres of land at the turn of the century to make his vision a reality. By 2005, the vineyard's syrah had been made into an award-winning wine at the California state fair (double gold).

Certified Sustainable - 7 acres of premium wine grapes planted in a valley outside Angels camp. Soils are made up of a friable old shale mostly, one block is a heavy adobe clay. Vineyard is composed of 3 varieties all trellised Vertically with small x-arms to offer some protection from the sun. Four acres are Sauvignon Blanc of a clone from the Loire Valley. Two acres are planted to Petite Sirah and lastly one acre is Barbera.

A 20 acre property which we have allocated 1/2 acre of Barbera vines. These vines were planted in June 2023. We went with Uber vines and look forward to fruit in 2024. We are a husband and wife operation and recently moved from Arnold to Murphys.

Located in Sheep Ranch, Star Canyon is Certified Organic through the Organic Certifiers, INC. The 1,500' elevation hillside vineyard originally planted in 1870 was replanted in 1992.

Metate Hill Vineyards, nestled in Angels Camp along the Historic Wagon Trail, boasts a rich tapestry of history. Amongst ancient native American grinding stones and the trails once traversed by gold miners and outlaws, their vines thrive at 1400 feet elevation. Situated on the 38th parallel, akin to central Spain, their meticulous research led them to introduce unique varietals like Godello, Treixadura, and Mencia to the Sierra Foothills. Over a decade of sourcing, importing, and certifying has granted them exclusive ownership of these grapes, marking them as pioneers in introducing these varietals to the New World.

Certified Sustainable - Six Mile Vineyard is 84 acres in production with 9 varieties of grapes. The vineyard is a certified sustainable vineyard through the Lodi rules program.

Tailem Bend Vineyards was established in 2007 at 2,350' elevation in Mountain Ranch. The 5 acre vineyard features three different clones of Zinfandel.

Small 3 acre vineyard, southwest facing hillside. Pinot Grigio, Sangiovese and Tannat planted in May 2008. Barbera grafted on to the Pinot Noir in April 2017.

The vineyard is nestled in the Esmeralda Valley of San Andreas. We cultivate 65 acres of hand crafted and award winning grapes. We have 13 varietals. Located at the 1500 foot elevation, we experience warmer days and cooler evenings. The first plantings started in 1981 and we continue to replant our vineyard for optimal quality.

This half acre Mourvedre vineyard is located on a terraced, rocky, SW facing slope of Soap Stone Hill at 2,500 feet elevation near Murphys. The vines were planted in 2015 and produce about 1.25 Tons annually.

Family owned vineyard created by Carl & Bob Moody in 1992 after the Old Gulch fire. Vineyard planted at 3,000 elevation in Murphys, CA since 1995 - produces 7-10 tons annually depending on mother nature.

Sustainably farmed using sheep for grass managements. Grapes have produced silver medal winners at several wine shows since 2002. Cabernet Sauvignon (110-R Clone 7 root stock).

We are a very small vineyard at 2800 ft. elevation in West Point, Calaveras County. We have approximately 1,000 vines of Zinfandel (9 years old) and 230 vines of Alicante Bouschet (12-18 years old). Though we only produce around one ton annually of our Alicante, we believe that our vineyard is one of the highest, if not the highest elevations for this varietal in the State.
