Night Harvest

While you're asleep, Calaveras vineyards come alive this time of year! Harvesting at night when the temperature is cooler benefits not only the workers, but the sugar levels in the grapes are more stable, the acid levels are better, there is less chance of spoiling the grapes, more tons can be picked, and energy can be saved.
